Not super large but enough room for all items, will get a large corner of space by moving the cabinet under the bed. noise level: generally quiet but will get loud if people talk in the corridor near your room. proximity to classes: awful if you need constant access to the southern part of campus (compsci bldg, forestry etc.) but great for

2.6/5 — Vanier is old. I was in a shared basement room. The doors rattled, and the laundry room had holes in the roof. However, the social life at Vanier was amazing. I'd sometimes visit orchard commons to see friends and it was so clinical. It was drab boring and depressing in orchard commons. Place Vanier NEVER had a boring day. 2.4/5 — My experience was in old Vanier. If you don't like bugs(Drain flies, spiders, silverfish) I wouldn't recommend. No screens on windows. Would get the odd visitor in my dorm from a silverfish... Communal bathrooms suck in general but were extra horrible with the drain flies in the showers. Good location, close to Triple O's, Tim Hortons, and Buchanan which was good for classes! Dining hall is ok, us
