2.6/5 — Building: 6, unit type: 4 bedroom The low-rise buildings (where I lived) feel quite different to the high-rises. No nice view and you can’t open your windows or else you’ll get pests - low-rise rooms might be a little more shaded, although the heat in the summer is still insane. 4.0/5 — My only negative is that the higher units get hot in the summer, but you can buy a portable AC which resolves this. Marine Drive is INCREDIBLE. Its further away from campus than most places, which is the only downside. But god damn this place is beautiful. My room overlooks the ocean, and the sunsets are awesome.
